    The school councillors went on a United in Diversity Day, at Braxted Park. 
    They had a great day doing lots of activities and listening to some inspirational speakers. 

    We raised enough money to build a quiet garden at the front of our school where children can go and sit, read and talk with friends. 

     
     

    The school councillors have been planting bulbs ready for the summer. 

     

    Fundraising

    Book Sale

    Book Sale

    We organised a secondhand book sale, books were donated by staff and families of our school. 
    The children loved choosing which books they wanted to buy and we raised £245.00

    Christian Bear

    Christian Bear

    The School Council bought a bear for each classroom with a book to take home each week and write a prayer. His name is Christian. 

    Our first fundraiser was the ever popular tea towels for Christmas.

    We had two designs, one with Reception, Y1 and Y2 and one with Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 on another.

    Valentines

    For Valentines, we had guess the name of the Valentine Teddy and how many sweets in the jar. Great excitement had by all.

     

    Multi School Council

    On March 2nd, we will be visiting Doucecroft Special School to talk about a topic on racism.

     

    Presents for the classes!

     

    World book day 

    We have Nigel Hinton visiting us for World book day.

    We bought books for our classes that are written by Nigel Hinton so the children can get to know a bit about him before he visits our school.

    Also, we are holding a second hand book sale on Thursday 3rd March.
