School Council 2021/2022

The school councillors went on a United in Diversity Day, at Braxted Park.
They had a great day doing lots of activities and listening to some inspirational speakers.

We have made a start to our Jubilee prayer garden, it's starting to look really lovely.
Our plan is to open the garden on our Jubilee picnic day.

The school councillors have been planting bulbs ready for the summer.

We are delighted to say that the Jubilee prayer garden is ready to open for our Jubilee picnic day.

Fundraising

We bought an Easter Egg for each class and had an Easter Egg raffle.
We raised........

We organised a secondhand book sale, books were donated by staff and families of our school.
The children loved choosing which books they wanted to buy and we raised £245.00

The School Council bought a bear for each classroom with a book to take home each week and write a prayer. His name is Christian.

Our first fundraiser was the ever popular tea towels for Christmas.

We had two designs, one with Reception, Y1 and Y2 and one with Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 on another.

Valentines

For Valentines 2022, we had guess the name of the Valentine Teddy and how many sweets in the jar. Great excitement had by all.

Multi School Council

On March 2nd, we will be visiting Doucecroft Special School to talk about a topic on racism.

Presents for the classes!

World book day 2022!

We have Nigel Hinton visiting us for World book day.

We bought books for our classes that are written by Nigel Hinton so the children can get to know a bit about him before he visits our school.

Also, we are holding a second hand book sale on Thursday 3rd March.
