Lawford C of E Primary School

High quality learning and caring together in an encouraging Christian environment.

Lawford Parent Teacher Association

All parents of children at Lawford Primary are automatically members of the PTA.

This is a lively, active organisation which forges links between home and school and raises money so that additional equipment can be purchased for the school.  There are many opportunities for all parents to be involved in helping at various functions.  Please see the autumn term newsletter for your ‘link to PTA’ member.

PTA Disco Fun! Thursday 29th March 2018

Thank you to the PTA for organising a treat for the school community on Friday 1st December 2017 in the form of the annual Christmas Fair. It was a truly festive occasion and enjoyed by children and their families. The school looked ready for Christmas and the elves had certainly worked their magic on Santa's Grotto. Well done to the family who won the shopping trolley of Christmas goodies too! We will let you know how much was raised as soon as the money has been counted. Thank you for your support.

Pre loved Uniform

The PTA have a stock of pre-loved uniform which will be sold to raise funds for the school.

How to Donate: Donations of clean, outgrown uniform is very appreciated. Donations can be handed in at the school office.  Please put in a bag marked “Uniform Donations for PTA”.  Please try to remove name labels prior to donating.

How to Buy: Uniform will be on sale at key PTA events throughout the year, but can also be bought at any time throughout the year.

Lost Property: The school does not have the space to keep lost property for long periods of time. Therefore at the end of each term, any unclaimed uniform will be removed, washed and donated to the PTA pre-loved uniform stock.  Please ensure your child’s clothes are clearly named, named items are returned to their owner and not put into Lost Property.

Can you help?: The PTA is always looking for help, especially with the processing of stock, including collecting donations, wasking and ironing a required. This includes helpers at the events where we have a uniform stall. Support is vital if the pre-loved uniform is to be a success.
