We have made a start to our prayer/reflective garden, it's starting to look really lovely. Lots of plants to go in next.

Our first project is to turn this area into a prayer/reflective garden where the children can come and sit quietly, say a prayer for someone or something or if they just need some time out and have a chat to someone.
We are going to fill it with plants that attract the bees and bird feeders to encourage all wildlife.
Watch this space!!

Below are some of the fundraising we have done so far.

We have began our prayer garden. It is starting to look really amazing.
Just the borders and plants to do then finally the turf can be laid.

The school councillors have been planting bulbs into the borders of our prayer garden.

We bought an Easter Egg for each class and had an Easter Egg raffle.
We raised........

We organised a secondhand book sale, books were donated by staff and families of our school.
The children loved choosing which books they wanted to buy and we raised £245.00

The School Council bought a bear for each classroom with a book to take home each week and write a prayer. His name is Christian.

Our first fundraiser was the ever popular tea towels for Christmas.

We had two designs, one with Reception, Y1 and Y2 and one with Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 on another.

For Valentines 2022, we had guess the name of the Valentine Teddy and how many sweets in the jar. Great excitement had by all.

Multi School Council

On March 2nd, we will be visiting Doucecroft Special School to talk about a topic on racism.

Presents for the classes!

World book day 2022!

We have Nigel Hinton visiting us for World book day.

We bought books for our classes that are written by Nigel Hinton so the children can get to know a bit about him before he visits our school.

Also, we are holding a second hand book sale on Thursday 3rd March.
